I have noticed while finishing my projct for the Environmental Camp/Class that students spend a lot of time sitting. I am surprised that the youth of today have collected rolls of fat around their middle instead of their rear ends. Just an observation.

I think the location of the fat may be more dictated by genetics or body type. Like how some people are pear-shaped, and some apple-shaped.
And I don't think it's just students who sit a lot- it's a huge chunk (no pun intended) of Americans! I can already tell a difference between the sedentary nature of my new job and the more active previous one I had: I am taking a lot more stretch, fidget, and walk around breaks!
